AMÁBILE MARIA TOZETTO BARBUIO

She was born in Jundiaí, a city located near São Paulo, on a sunny November day.

Since she was a little child she had a special love for the blaze of gold, the glitter of silver, and the light of colours, without knowing what all this would mean in her life.

She graduated, became a teacher, and during more than twenty years her  mission were the children, including her own three - two boys and a girl.

During this period, the enchantment for the blaze of gold, the glitter of silver, and the light of colours, still hadn't made any sense.

One day, however, she discovered what that magic ensemble of shapes, brightness, and colours would play in her life. It  was right there, just next door, in the churches, in the christian images, and in the devotional fashion of the sacred art.

When emotions and tears came together, she found her true talent in the expression of the baroque art, and her walk of life took other courses.

Today, after fifteen years of hard studying and working, and surrounded by  chisels, brushes, colours, paintings, images of wood,  gold, and silver,  Amábile has the conviction that the passion she reveals in her daily artwork has only one reason: carry love to those who admire and worship the devotional baroque art.
